Flexible Epidural Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) System – FIB2000 Series
This innovative system integrates bidirectional neural interfacing (recording and stimulation), high-efficiency wireless telemetry, minimally invasive epidural implantation, and a rechargeable power module. The entire device is implanted extradurally via a keyhole craniotomy, eliminating parenchymal damage to ensure stable, long-term neural signal acquisition with enhanced biocompatibility. By leveraging deep-learning-based signal decoding and integrated assistive robotics, the system achieves brain-computer interface (BCI) control, enabling patients with paralysis to partially restore voluntary motor functions and basic communication capabilities. Furthermore, targeted cortical stimulation evokes artificial sensory feedback, significantly improving quality of life and opening new avenues for neurorehabilitation.Motor dysfunction induced by spinal cord injury
